María Carmen Pallarés is a predoctoral student at INMA via UniZar, supervised by Anabel Gracia Lostao. She has a degree in Biology, and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Her research focuses on the use of atomic force microscopy (AFM) to i) study protein:ligand interactions and catalytic mechanisms of enzymes through imaging at the single-molecule level; and ii) dip-pen nanolithography based on AFM for micro/nanoscale deposition of magnetic molecules, radicals, polymers, proteins, and nanoparticles on sensors.
