Fernando de León-Pérez is associate professor at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa (CUD) since 2010.
He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Havana University. From 1995 to 2002, he was first an Assistance Professor and later an Associate Professor at the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de las Villas, Cuba.
His research interests are plasmon and phonon-polaritons in nanostructures metals, as well as phonon and excitons in semiconductor heterostructures.
