Dr. Agustín Camón Lasheras graduated in Physical Sciences from the University of Zaragoza in 1986, where he later completed his doctoral thesis in quantum electrical metrology (1996).
He is currently a Tenured Scientist at the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA), Zaragoza, Spain.
His work focuses on the development of advanced scientific instrumentation and measurement techniques for the study of the properties of matter at very low temperatures. He is also working on the possible applications of these properties, mainly magnetism and superconductivity. He is currently working on the development of low temperature radiation detectors (TES).
Dr. Camón has extensive experience in low temperature physics, cryogenics and superconductivity applications.
